This photo was taken 11/6/1945  at the Walter Ross Arabian farm near Kansas City. The mare was ridden by the Ross trainer, Harry Thomas. It was to be used in an article by Margaret Bechtel for Kansas City AP about the Ross farm in Missouri. There are few photos of *Azja IV, who was famed for her son Azraff, by *Raffles.
